National Crime Prevention Council Picks Ogilvy SG to Drive Scam Awareness

Non-profit organisation, National Crime Prevention Council (NCPC) has appointed Ogilvy Singapore for an integrated campaign to drive awareness and public education on scams. In a bid to help Singaporeans stay informed and vigilant against scams, Ogilvy will be responsible for an integrated campaign involving brand strategy, creative, social, events and OOH communications.

Mitchell Tan, executive group director, Ogilvy Singapore, said the agency is given the vital task of raising awareness and educating Singaporeans to be vigilant against scams. By tapping into behavioural science and consumer insights, Ogilvy aims to deliver effective social engagements that not only aims to raise awareness, but also change people’s behaviour.

“To do that, we need to convince everyone that we are all vulnerable to scams – it is not limited to only certain groups of individuals,” he added.
