Ogilvy won Network of the Year and Agency of the Year honours, as well as the Grand Effie, at the APAC Effie Awards for 2019, held in Singapore. The Grand Effie went to Ogilvy India and Vodafone for ‘Vodafone Sakhi’, a mobile-based safety service that lets women recharge their mobile accounts without revealing their numbers to retailers. Vodafone was also named Brand of the Year (alongside Danzhai Wanda Village) and came in second for Marketer of the Year, behind Insurance Australia Group. Overall, Ogilvy took home a grand total of 18 awards: the Grand Effie, six golds, four silvers and seven bronzes.
