According to the recent survey by The Economist Intelligence Unit, the world’s most expensive city is Singapore for the fourth consecutive year. The annual cost-of-living ranking compares the price of over 150 items in 133 cities.
This year Asian and European cities dominate the top ten. North American and British cities have become cheaper as their currencies have weakened. Brexit may have one upside: London is at its cheapest level for two decades.
