How Brands Can Accelerate the Transition to a More Sustainable Future

Brands represent the value and meaning exchange between people and commerce.

It is via brands that the private sector can and must deliver our sustainable solutions that serve humanity and planet, and in so doing inspire, guide and transition all of us towards a more equitable, sustainable, and prosperous future.

To achieve these sustainable goals, brands must respect and serve our complete humanity and the environment we all share.

The Dubai Expo is hosting the United Nations’ Global Goals Week, where events will be devoted to raising awareness, action, and accountability for the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) set by the United Nations in 2015.

Ogilvy contributed to Global Goals Week with a talk on “How Brands Can Accelerate the Transition to a More Sustainable Future,” led by Andy Wilson who recently joined our Global Sustainability Practice, based in Asia.

This talk shows you why and how brands will need to play a vital role to achieve a more sustainable future. And it will share some important principles and examples on how we must change the way in which we conceive of brands and marketing for the future.

Watch the recording of Andy’s session here.

We'd love to hear from you.
