As one of the earliest makers of shoyu, Sagawa wanted to express the delicate art that’s gone into its manufacturing. To dramatise the craftmanship, and how just the right amount of the product brings so much to the taste of any food, a series of artful posters were made using the soy sauce itself. The work won over the clients, along with about every award in the business, including the coveted D&AD Yellow Pencil.
