Ogilvy PR & Influence wins big at the 2019 PR Week Asia Awards

Ogilvy Public Relations & Influence is celebrating today after a series of successes at this year’s PR Week Asia Awards, including the most coveted Grand Prix Campaign of the Year Award by Era Ogilvy Taiwan.  The event was held at the St. Regis Hotel Hong Kong, bringing together the cream of the PR industry and recognising excellence across a range of categories, including art, entertainment and media, brand development, environmental, best use of content, business-to-business, and reputation and issues management, among others.

The most outstanding win was Era Ogilvy Taiwan’s post crisis recovery work, “From Enemy to Family” for Lee Chang Yung Chemical Corp, which was awarded with the Grand Prix Campaign of the Year, in addition to two Gold awards of Greater China PR Campaign of the Year and Reputation and Issues Management category.

Equally significant is that the leadership of our opr Agency, Kaz Scott was recognised as the PR Professional of the Year, and Singapore office was awarded as the Southeast Asia PR Agency of the Year.

Besides the two Golds for Era Ogilvy’s “From Enemy to Family” campaign, we were also crowned Gold for Environmental category by Pulse with “Queensland Look At The State We Are In” campaign, and for Promotional Activity category by opr Agency with their “Xbox Greaseproof Controller campaign”, which also won a silver award in the art, entertainment and media category.

Ogilvy Taiwan was also awarded with a silver in the best use of content category with their “A New Way to Be a Grown-Up” campaign for Hotel Royal Chiaohsi. Shanghai office’s “Beautiful Surgery Lines” campaign won a Bronze in the cause-related public awareness category.

Within the region, Ogilvy was shortlisted with 22 entries in 19 categories, with 8 nominations in Australia, 6 in China, 5 in Taiwan, 2 in Singapore and 1 in Hong Kong.
